WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE

  • Actively sell and promote all Fluidra Pool Care product ranges to Pool Shops, Mobile Pool Services and Pool Builders to achieve sales and margin targets within the defined territory.
  • Drive territory growth through a structured approach to account management, new business development, and opportunity identification, aligned to group sales strategies.
  • Develop and execute customer-specific sales plans, including training, promotional programs, reward and recognition initiatives to grow share of wallet.
  • Plan and manage a disciplined weekly call cycle within CRM (Salesforce), ensuring effective coverage of priority customers and identified opportunities.
  • Record all customer interactions in Salesforce in line with company expectations, including accurate contact management, activity tracking and opportunity updates.
  • Identify, develop and convert new business opportunities while maintaining and growing existing customer relationships.
  • Negotiate and implement sales targets, trading terms and promotional programs with key customers in line with company process, pricing and margin expectations.
  • Ensure all company pricing policies, account terms and trading conditions are adhered to and clearly understood by customers.
  • Support the Head of Retail Key Accounts in franchise growth initiatives, including facilitating discovery days and overcoming customer objections.
  • Execute and support marketing and sales programs, ensuring strong in-market activation including POS, merchandising and promotional displays.
  • Deliver product and technical training to customers, continuously building personal product knowledge and capability.
  • Provide regular and accurate market feedback, including competitor activity, customer insights and emerging opportunities.
  • Maintain structured territory planning, including pipeline development, opportunity tracking and strategic account prioritisation.
  • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly activity and performance reports to the Regional Manager.
  • Represent Fluidra professionally at all times, including customer interactions, trade events, and industry engagement.
  • Organise and attend trade shows, retail exhibitions and industry events to promote Fluidra products and strengthen market presence.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships across the industry, developing referral networks and enhancing Fluidra’s brand reputation.
  • Assist in resolving customer issues and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Contribute to cross-functional collaboration across sales, marketing and product teams to support broader business objectives.
  • Support the recovery of lost business and drive growth through consistent, disciplined engagement within the territory.
  • Maintain a positive team environment aligned with Fluidra values and contribute to team success.

 

WHAT WE SEEK

  • Previous experience in a business development or sales management capacity – highly desirable in the FMCG or Manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated ability in time management skills including planning and prioritizing
  • Relevant sales, business, or industry experience is essential.
  • Formal qualifications in Business, Sales, Marketing or a related field are advantageous but not required.
  • Demonstrated capability in account management, territory planning, and customer engagement will be considered in place of formal qualifications.
  • Strong influential communicator – both written and verbal, with a positive and resilient attitude
  • A positive “can do” attitude and ability to achieve targets and deadlines
  • Ability to create and maintain strong relationships within the pool industry
  • Strong understanding of best practice and key points of profit in the pool/spa industry
  • Technically competent
  • Strong computers skills with proficiency in MS Office including Word and Excel
