Fluidra’s looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Carlsbad, CA.

 

WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE 

The ideal candidate is an engineer with a passion for mechanical, hands-on equipment design. Additionally, you will: 

  • Support the design and development of equipment for the swimming pool industry
  • Work with suppliers to meet project goals
  • Create test plans and oversee qualification testing
  • Submit engineering change orders
  • Develop and analyze part designs using SolidWorks CAD software, FEA software, and physical prototypes
  • Work on product sustaining initiatives to improve the performance and reliability of existing designs

 

WHAT WE SEEK

  • 2+ years of mechanical engineering experience
  • Experience with SolidWorks CAD software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical team members
  • Willing to travel domestically and internationally as needed to visit suppliers or field sites

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline

Expected salary range is $95,000 - $110,000. Fluidra offers a comprehensive total rewards / benefits program that includes base salary, annual bonus based on performance of individual and company objectives, competitive 401K matching, paid vacation and sick time, full range of health benefits, educational assistance, etc. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including skills, qualifications, experience and location.
