Compliance Specialist

Mission

Support FGD and Product Compliance in achieving the compliance objectives defined at Group level.
Ensure regulatory compliance of products manufactured, imported, and distributed by Fluidra across international markets by contributing to the preparation, review, update, storage, and management of technical and regulatory documentation (including chemical, electrical, electronic, and packaging requirements).

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain and manage Safety Data Sheets (SDS) in compliance with CLP, REACH, and RoHS regulations.
  • Review product labels and instruction manuals to ensure compliance with applicable regulations (CLP, CE), including correct hazard classification and communication.
  • Support the preparation and compilation of technical and regulatory documentation for biocidal products in accordance with the BPR Regulation.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including Technical Purchase Specifications (ETCs) and Technical Data Sheets.
  • Evaluate and adapt extended Safety Data Sheets (eSDS) to align with company requirements.
  • Assess third-party product compliance (suppliers, vendors, factories), including verification of test certificates, product and packaging markings, and instruction manuals.
  • Monitor, analyse, and implement new or updated standards and directives applicable to the product portfolio.
  • Coordinate with external laboratories and consultants to perform required testing and product evaluations.
  • Maintain and update internal regulatory databases and compliance documentation systems.
  • Participate in internal audits related to regulatory compliance and document management.
  • Provide regulatory guidance and support to internal stakeholders (purchasing, manufacturing sites, suppliers, etc.).
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of compliance-related product data sheets by product family/type.
  • Prepare and deliver compliance training and presentations to different audiences.

 

Requirements:

  • Chemical Engineering or Grado Superior
  • High Level in Excel
  • Fluent English and Spanish
