
Fluidra’s looking for a Product Marketing Manager – Consumer to join our team in Atlanta, GA (by airport).
WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
The Product Marketing Manager for the Consumer BU plays a vital role in driving growth and profitability across the North America Consumer portfolio (e.g. Automatic Pool Cleaners, Sanitizers, Slides), which spans true omnichannel distribution – including but not limited to online, specialty retail, distributors, buying groups, and home centers. Working with iconic consumer brands like Polaris®, this role helps translate consumer, customer, and market insights into portfolio and go-to-market strategies. The Product Marketing Manager focuses on day-to-day product management execution, commercial readiness, forecasting, competitive analysis, assortment optimization, and roadmap support. She/he partners closely with the SVP/GM Consumer, Finance, Sales, Marketing, Global Product Development, Engineering and Demand Planning to support revenue and margin targets. Additionally, you will:
- Support the Consumer BU long-term strategy by translating business priorities into actionable product, assortment, and go-to-market plans.
- Lead key aspects of new product launches, including timely communication, pricing, specifications, forecasting, go-to-market readiness, samples, training materials, and online content requirements.
- Ensure a competitive and profitable product portfolio based on consumer insights, customer needs, and competitor activity.
- Support P&L management in partnership with Finance and the SVP/GM by providing analysis and recommendations on revenue, margin, pricing, and cost optimization actions.
- Own the product forecast for assigned categories, including both short-term and long-term volume projections, partnering with Sales, Demand Planning, Finance, and Supply Chain to ensure forecast accuracy and business alignment.
- Lead pricing assessments, cost reviews, margin analyses, and business cases to support product and portfolio decisions.
- Serve as a product and consumer subject-matter expert for assigned categories; help develop compelling claims, points of difference, and reasons to believe that can be leveraged by Marketing and Sales.
- Manage consumer research, competitive analysis, assortment planning, product lifecycle management, and SKU rationalization initiatives.
- Partner with Program Management and Global Product Organization to support execution of the product roadmap through the internal stage-gate process and align on platforms, models, features, and specifications.
- Participate in customer meetings and line reviews as the product and consumer expert for assigned categories, supporting Sales and helping align product recommendations with customer needs.
- Lead sales training, customer-facing materials, samples, and other tools needed to enable successful selling of innovation.
WHAT WE SEEK
- Minimum of 6+ years of progressive experience in product marketing, business management, product development, or related commercial roles.
- Experience leading product portfolio, go-to-market, pricing, and P&L-related initiatives.
- Track record of supporting sales growth, margin improvement, market share gains, successful product launches, and portfolio optimization.
- Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, Operations, Program Management, and/or Product Development.
- Strong product management and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority and build effective working relationships across the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to think analytically, and make practical recommendations grounded in research and analysis.
- Ability to work independently with a strong consumer and customer focus.
- Demonstrated ability to manage change, support continuous improvement, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced business environment.
- Curious, commercially minded, and action-oriented, with the ability to identify opportunities and convert them into practical product or portfolio actions.
- Ability to work with detail, discipline, and strong follow-through.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to simplify and communicate complex topics to internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Innovative and open-minded, with a willingness to continually learn and search for ideas and opportunities to improve assigned product groups.
- Ability to travel up to 25%, both domestically and internationally.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or related field.
