Global Product Manager - Commercial & Public Pools Hydraulics

Purpose of the Role

Fluidra is looking for a Global Product Manager to lead the strategy, development and lifecycle management of our global hydraulics portfolio for commercial and public swimming pools, including pumps, filters and valves.

This role will be responsible for defining product strategy, driving innovation, managing the portfolio roadmap and ensuring alignment between customer needs, market trends and business objectives. The successful candidate will act as a key link between commercial teams, engineering, operations and leadership stakeholders across multiple regions.

This is a highly visible international role requiring a combination of strong product management expertise, strategic thinking and technical knowledge within industrial or fluid handling environments.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the global product strategy and roadmap for the Commercial & Public Pools Hydraulics portfolio.
  • Own the full product lifecycle, from market assessment and business case development to launch, optimization and phase-out activities.
  • Identify growth opportunities through customer insights, competitive analysis and market trends.
  • Partner closely with Engineering and R&D teams to prioritize product development initiatives and innovation projects.
  • Manage global product positioning, value propositions and portfolio rationalization activities.
  • Support regional commercial teams with product expertise, market intelligence and product training.
  • Develop and monitor business performance metrics, including revenue growth, profitability and market share.
  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders across a matrix organization to ensure successful execution of product strategies.
  • Represent the product portfolio at customer meetings, industry events and strategic business reviews when required.

 

Required Experience & Skills

  • Proven experience in Product Management within industrial, engineering or technical B2B environments.
  • Strong experience managing product portfolios and product lifecycle processes on an international scale.
  • Technical understanding of hydraulics, pumps, fluid handling systems, valves, water technologies or related industrial products.
  • Experience working closely with engineering and R&D teams to drive product development and innovation.
  • Strong strategic and analytical capabilities with the ability to translate market insights into product plans.
  • Demonstrated success influencing stakeholders and driving decisions within a matrix organization.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Fluent English.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within industries such as pumps, water technologies, fluid handling, flow control, building systems or related industrial sectors.
  • Exposure to specification-driven markets involving engineering firms, consultants or architects.
  • Experience with connected products, digital solutions or IoT technologies.
  • MBA or equivalent business qualification.
  • Additional European languages, particularly Spanish, are considered a plus.
