Salesforce Release Manager

The Salesforce Release Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the end-to-end release management lifecycle of Fluidra’s Salesforce platform. The role ensures the smooth, controlled, and high-quality deployment of Salesforce applications, configurations, and updates across multiple environments, while aligning with business priorities, compliance standards, and operational excellence.

 

This role plays a critical part in maintaining platform stability while enabling continuous delivery within the Global Salesforce CRM Center of Excellence.

 

 

Main Assignments:

 

Release Planning & Coordination

  • Develop, maintain, and communicate comprehensive Salesforce release schedules aligned with business priorities and technical dependencies.
  • Coordinate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA, Solution Architects, and Functional Analysts.
  • Manage release activities across all Salesforce environments (Development, SIT, UAT, Production, Hotfix), ensuring alignment and minimal business disruption.

 

Deployment Management

  • Oversee end-to-end deployment activities, including metadata deployments, data migrations, code releases, and configuration changes.
  • Utilize Salesforce deployment tools such as Salesforce DX, Change Sets, VS Code, Gearset (or similar) to enable efficient and reliable releases.
  • Ensure appropriate regression testing and validation is completed prior to production deployments.

 

Change & Configuration Management

  • Define, implement, and enforce change control processes to ensure Salesforce platform integrity and stability.
  • Manage version control practices using GitHub, including branching strategies and environment synchronization.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve deployment-related issues in collaboration with technical teams.
  • Conduct post-release reviews to identify root causes, lessons learned, and improvement actions.

 

Other Assignments:

  • Maintain detailed release documentation, including deployment plans, release notes, and rollback procedures.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members on release management processes and tools.
  • Recommend and implement continuous improvements to release processes, automation, and governance.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, quality, and continuous improvement within the Salesforce delivery ecosystem.

 

Required:

  • Proven experience as a Salesforce Release Manager or in a similar Salesforce-focused role.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce development, configuration, and deployment processes.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce deployment tools (Salesforce DX, Change Sets, Gearset, Copado or similar).
  • Solid understanding of version control systems and branching strategies.
  • Experience working within Agile delivery frameworks.
  • Englids a Spanish (fluent)

 

Appreciated:

  • Experience managing releases in multi-org Salesforce environments.
  • Familiarity with ITIL or IT Service Management frameworks.
