WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
The Senior Plant Manager serves as the senior operational leader responsible for the overall strategy, leadership, and performance of Taylor Water Technologies LLC. This role provides executive-level oversight of all manufacturing operations, including production, supply chain, quality, maintenance, inventory management, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives.
The Senior Plant Manager translates business strategy into operational execution by driving manufacturing excellence, organizational capability, and financial performance while ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. This position is accountable for developing scalable manufacturing systems, building high-performing leadership teams, and fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Working closely with executive leadership and cross-functional partners, the Senior Plant Manager develops long-term operational strategies that support business growth, improve profitability, optimize manufacturing capacity, and strengthen organizational effectiveness across multiple locations. Additionally, you will:
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute the long-term operational strategy supporting company growth, customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and profitability.
- Align manufacturing operations with Fluidra's strategic objectives while ensuring operational scalability for future growth.
- Establish annual operating plans, departmental objectives, and measurable performance indicators.
- Lead organizational transformation initiatives that improve productivity, efficiency, and manufacturing capability.
- Identify opportunities for automation, process optimization, and technology implementation.
- Serve as the senior operational advisor to executive leadership regarding manufacturing performance, risks, and strategic initiatives.
- Champion a culture centered on accountability, innovation, safety, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
Operational Excellence
- Direct all manufacturing activities across assigned facilities while ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other operational excellence methodologies.
- Improve manufacturing throughput, labor productivity, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), inventory accuracy, and operational flexibility.
- Establish standardized manufacturing processes and best practices across multiple operations.
- Ensure successful execution of production schedules while maintaining industry-leading customer service levels.
- Oversee New Product Introduction (NPI) activities to ensure successful commercialization and manufacturing readiness.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives to resolve operational challenges.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, environmental standards, ISO requirements, and all company policies.
Financial & Business Leadership
- Own overall manufacturing financial performance including labor, operating expenses, inventory investment, capital expenditures, and productivity improvements.
- Develop and manage annual operating budgets aligned with organizational objectives.
- Identify and execute cost reduction initiatives that improve profitability without compromising safety, quality, or customer satisfaction.
- Evaluate capital investment opportunities using financial modeling, return-on-investment analysis, and business case development.
- Partner closely with Finance to monitor operational performance, identify cost drivers, and improve manufacturing profitability.
- Develop capacity plans that support future business growth while maximizing return on capital investments.
- Monitor operational trends and implement corrective actions to ensure achievement of financial targets.
People Leadership & Organizational Development
- Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing leadership team capable of supporting organizational growth.
- Establish clear expectations, measurable goals, and accountability throughout the organization.
- Lead succession planning, workforce planning, and leadership development initiatives.
- Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and performance-driven culture aligned with Fluidra's Core Values.
- Coach leaders to improve communication, decision-making, accountability, and employee engagement.
- Conduct regular talent reviews and implement development plans for high-potential employees.
- Address employee performance concerns promptly while recognizing and rewarding outstanding performance.
- Maintain a visible leadership presence throughout manufacturing operations.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Partner with R&D, Sales, Product Management, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Finance, Human Resources, Quality, and Safety to achieve enterprise objectives.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives that improve customer satisfaction, operational performance, and business results.
- Support strategic sourcing initiatives while improving supplier performance and supply chain resilience.
- Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering on new product development and commercialization.
- Represent manufacturing operations during executive business reviews and strategic planning sessions.
- Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support organizational success.
Safety, Quality & Compliance
- Promote an uncompromising culture of employee safety throughout all manufacturing operations.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, environmental requirements, and all corporate safety programs.
- Drive continuous improvements in product quality and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure manufacturing processes consistently meet quality standards and customer specifications.
- Lead investigations into safety, quality, and operational incidents while implementing sustainable corrective actions.
- Maintain regulatory compliance across all operational functions.
WHAT WE SEEK
- 10+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience.
- 5+ years leading large manufacturing operations or multiple manufacturing facilities.
- Demonstrated experience leading high-volume, make-to-order, or complex manufacturing environments.
- Proven success implementing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Operational Excellence, or Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Experience managing large operating budgets and capital expenditure projects.
- Demonstrated success building and developing high-performing leadership teams.
- Experience utilizing ERP/MRP systems; Epicor or similar platforms preferred.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- Master's degree (MBA or Engineering) preferred.

Expected salary range is $150,000- 175,000. Fluidra offers a comprehensive total rewards / benefits program that includes base salary, annual bonus based on performance of individual and company objectives, competitive 401K matching, paid vacation and sick time, full range of health benefits, educational assistance, etc. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including skills, qualifications, experience and location.
