
Fluidra’s looking for an Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in Sparks, MD.
WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for managing and improving inventory accuracy within a warehouse and manufacturing environment. This role performs daily cycle counts, analyzes inventory transactions, reconciles production orders, and identifies process improvement opportunities to support operational efficiency. The specialist uses inventory systems and material-handling equipment to maintain accurate stock levels, develop standard work procedures, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, you will:
- Perform daily cycle counts based on item classification codes.
- Analyze inventory transactions for accuracy and potential problems.
- Enter count results into hand-held device while following procedures in place.
- Identify inventory improvement opportunities.
- Ability to perform system moves and completion transactions as necessary.
- Provide inventory control reports as needed.
- Reconcile production orders and ensure correct materials are issued.
- Always maintain clean work environment while performing duties.
- Utilize inventory equipment (scale, computer, order picker, forklift).
- Develop and implement standard work documents & procedures.
- Follow all safety regulations and procedures.
- Assist with internal inventory audits as needed.
WHAT WE SEEK
- 1+years of experience in Manufacturing and/or Inventory Control.
- Must be able to perform basic math calculations.
- Problem solving skills.
- Experience using manufacturing equipment preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
EDUCATION
High School Diploma or equivalent
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of this job, employees are regularly required to read and write, sit, walk within the facility to access file cabinets, documents, stand; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands repetitively to finger, handle, feel or operate standard office equipment; reach with hands and arms; and lift up to 10 pounds. They also occasionally move objects weighing up to 20 lbs., and sometimes, but rarely, up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Expected hourly rate range is $28.00- $34.00.
